A controls engineer aiming to solve complex problems that make our world a better place.
Industry Experience
- Currently the controls engineering manager at Boston Metal, where we’re working on a molten oxide electrolysis process to produce steel without CO2 emissions. Our group is responsible for all the software for this technology including: control software deployed on a PLC, the human-machine-interface (HMI), and the data analysis tools.
- Have previously consulted several unmanned aerial vehicle companies in control systems, motion planning, and PX4 programming. My former clients include:
- Continental Control and Designs (through a partnership with Altitude R&D) (Huntington Beach, California)
- Vayu (Ann Arbor, Michigan)
- Notos Technologies (Montreal, Quebec)
Academic Experience
- Completed the PhD degree in McGill University’s Aerospace Mechatronics Laboratory. My research focused on control and obstacle avoidance strategies for agile fixed-wing aircraft.
- Worked as a research assistant in McGill University’s Aerospace Mechatronics Laboratory where I developed and implemented control algorithms to enable collaborative payload transport with quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicles autonomously.
